Incase you change your mind I’ll stop by with brushes and farm implement, $40

That's a great deal considering the drive!

I wouldn't dump this money into it if I wasn't planning on holding on to it for a while. Might take you up on that $40 offer on a couple other projects though LOL

Notice I said plural brushes haha
I’ll already be over sometime anyway since one of the goals of the black truck is to make it to your house

Also Jaguar is gone so crystal missed her chance. Only “slow” heavy things now.

All things considered, I'd say that hot-dipping is a bargain. I've seen quotes like that for powder coating...which I would NOT recommend for anything but a garage queen/show car.

Can't wait to see the results!

We got started blasting the frame today. I was hoping to get it blasted a couple weeks ago but the one guy didn't really want to do it so I had to get a different guy to do it.

Limited pictures because I don't want to show customer material in our shop.

Blasted half of it and flipped it on the cart so he can finish it tomorrow. It nice to see the difference in the pictures.

Apparently Diego is jealous because I lost turn signals and brake lights on the way home. Just blew the fuses so I'll have to figure that out. Swapped out the fuses and they're working for now.

Vehicle jealousy is a real thing. Same as my own jealousy of how awesome that frame will be when it's done.

I should know. I've spent enough time drooling over your bullnose LOL

I hate rust falling in my face when I'm working on a vehicle. This should help significantly when it's done!

Frame is ready to go to galvanizing.

First coat of primer on the fuel tank skid plate and exhaust hangers. The parts too thin to send to galvanizing.

Nice clean southern frame. Inside the shock mounts looks like this. I'm hoping the day blaster can clean them up quick tomorrow.

Added some drain holes to hopefully help in the future. Might weaken the mounts a little but they're available aftermarket worst case.

Had coworker go over some of the factory welds. Might not be perfect but better than the crap that was there.
