All data, is that something that has to be subscribed to?

Couple days ago I cut a wire on my Brake Controller.
Last Spring I had the Steering Column, Instrument Cluster out to get under the Dash to take out the Brake, Clutch Peddle box assy. to replace the Bushings.
I had another one I got from PNP that I cleaned up, and put in new bushings.
Wire wheeled all the aluminum, got the clutch/Brake arms cleaned down to bare metal, and POR`d.

Ford only paints them 1/2 way up, like an old lady wearing knee hi stockings. Covers only what shows.

Also while I had the thing apart was a good time to do the Heim Joint mod.

Get it all back together and things were great. About a month ago noticed the Column had about an inch of up and down play.
The 2 bolts that hold the Column up tight to the Dash were working their way out.
Dooshed them with blue Lock Tite, and hope all is well.

Putting it back together, there is a plastic trim piece under the column I had to remove. Has some wires zip tied to it, snipped the wires.
Putting it back together...what is the red wire?
OH!!! there is the other end, goes to Brake Controller. Guess not important right now...all lights work.

Something else to do when the weather calms down.

Few years ago my Block heater cord must have hit the Fan belt and rubbed into the wires in a small place.
Had it all zip tied, not sure how it happened, but it did.
Well water, salt etc... got into the open wound and finally a few weeks back didn`t work.

ON E-bay found a guy selling the new cords, he had 2 so bought them both.
$22.99 ea. seemed like they use to be $35.
These are the Zero Start made in Canada.
Total with free shipping was $49.24.
Now I have a spare in my spare parts cabinet.
Have one of those tall metal cabinets with double doors with all my new parts and specialized tools. Keeps the Mice and Rats out.

The Zerostart cord has a part# of 3600010 if you are searching for one.

They were in the mail box this afternoon.

Now that you are all loaded, drive it on down here to Gardnerville.
What type of wood?

I made some sides for mine, used a piece of 3/8" Ply Wood. Had HD rip it down the center gave me 2, 2 ft wide pieces. Used some 2 x 2 for the pockets and bolted it together with 1/4" Bolts.
Used 2 1 x 4 across the front. (What I had on hand)
You will have to put a strap across the back to keep it from pushing out and keep straight.
Not real heavy duty but works for me.

It`s not on all the time, just when I need it.

Yeah that’s the way to go if you do it on the highway regularly. It was just some pine logs that were a gift from a friend.

I have to go on the roads, so I just don't stack mine that high. I don't like the thought of a piece falling off and going through someone's windshield. I don't generally use all that much firewood anyway. This last week had highs in the 50's and mostly lows in the upper 20's so I didn't even bother to use my stove. The week before? It sure saved my bacon! It was well worth the hassle to install and will be again next week although I seriously doubt that we'll be seeing any below 0 temperatures again soon.

I appreciate that, I hate unsecured loads and do my best to make sure everything is nice and tight when I am out on the road thank you for making the effort to keep other vehicles safe as well.

I set up for New Years just the same as last year!!

Inside has a heater, Christmas lights, and an Atari 7800 for the Keen Eyes

Frogger and Circus Atari were the big hits this year. I love Pitfall and Pinball.

Heck, it’s just not loads to worry about. Few years ago my brother and I were on I-5 South near Seattle and the car in front of us puked it’s muffler, bounced off our hood and nailed the windshield behind us.....we felt lucky it was only our hood!!!

2023 has been pretty good so far, between the ATC ride yesterday and today's fuel stop. I have a feeling that I won't be saying that tomorrow after I go back to work. It won't be terrible, just not as enjoyable.
