Whats nice is that you can find the area under your rig that you need to lay, then pack snow in the right spots to prop your head and shoulders up in a comfortable position for when you start fixing stuff. Besides that, you cant feel it when you bust your knuckles real bad...till they thaw ofc.
Hey that’s a plus my neck gets very sore n so do my knuckles

My old house in the Red River Valley of Minnesota, March of 2018.
No thanks. That's too much snow for me.
Wow do you seriously have to shovel a path to get out of your house, I can’t imagine how bad it would be to freeze ya nuts off every time it rained let alone have to shovel the stuff out of ya way
Those people usually have snow blowers to make it MUCH easier to make that path.
My father in law says he used to bring his car battery in at night when they lived up there.
That's not a bad idea unless you have battery heaters. It also sounds like it would be too cold for me.
How can ya tell when ya picking up a chick if she looks like the Michelin man under that suit??

But in that picture you can clearly see that it was shoveled. Like a MAN. LOL
We got about 2 feet before Thanksgiving, which is quite weird for my area. I LOVE driving in the snow. It's like slow-motion rally car driving...or in my pickup, rally truck driving...
Shoveling our smallish driveway is a pain with that much snow. Took me over an hour. But the berm the plows make in front of the mailboxes is even worse because of the way my neighbors park. And they rarely help me shovel it...

Actually, Like a Woman. My wife shoveled that out. She refuses to use the snow blower. I was on the road for work and she sent me that picture.

For our climatically challenged friend down under, the snow blower mounts on the front of my garden tractor. Mower deck comes off in the fall, and the blower goes on.

On the “still below freezing” mild days, it’s a perfect place for a quick little “thinkin’ session” (power nap) while the wife thinks I’m working.

CYA: My vehicles are 99.9% driven by me, so fear of being run over is low.
