Edit: I guess you can’t say *** so I’ll say ******

Edit: Nevermind you can’t say p e e or t I n k l e
Too late, but GREAT suggestion!! I wore them around the store for a bit.

The carhartts fit in LT, Berne in XLT, and the thing that sealed the deal was Berne's had a snap to access my jeans pockets underneath, and the Carhartts did not, plus I saved $70.

In the event of a panic "nature call" I do feel the Berne were much easier to get on and off :D

I never did admit that I had been going 95 in drive for well over 100 miles.

They should have been grateful for you running the stress test for them! Better to weed out the weak spots!

I've heard of people needing long spline driveshafts, but long travel steering shafts is definitely a new one!

I mean the V6 one you discribed.
It was a P50. At the time, those usually had a 4.3 GM V6, but were being phased out by the P47 which was/is a Dodge chassis with the Mercedes 5 cyl. diesel. As a whole, those were the quickest accelerating group of trucks. The P700 with the 5.9 and a 5 speed Allison were the overall fastest group.

Our 700 is governed at 65mph. I just hate sitting on top of roaring, whistling 5.9.

Dang kids!:backoff
When I was 19 I worked at Nations Rent as a yardman. I had to park the equipment and check it out, I would break stuff all the time. But I got a "good job" from the boss when I did! Better to break it on the yard than the customer break it on a job site.

I have been ribbed in here before for using my truck to move smaller objects so rather than refute that I thought I would just go with it. I’d say these are fairly bent up though wouldn’t you?

They might be, but we'll never know unless you upload a picture LOL
Lol I'm glad you chimed in! Im pretty sure I'm the one that ribbed him for having 6lbs of scrap steel in this truck bed.

Note: only take me seriously if I'm talking about Jesus or my family, everything else is wide open for humor. It says "a merry heart does good like a medicine" in proverbs, thats medically proven a good laugh will release endorphins and dopamine that helps your body heal! Jesus is King.

Well, I pulled the engine and transmission out of the dually. Removed the core support and went out the front engine and transmission together. DANG! IT'S HEAVY!!!
I did that when I pulled my donor engine. Pulled the engine and the transmission (E4OD) at one time. I pulled core support and bumper. I did it by myself and it was no fun. I definitely won't do it again that way if I ever have to.
I may learn my lessons the hard way... but I do learn them

Well, I've scratched my head and thought it over and have come to the conclusion that when I go back together with my dually a turbo charger won't be a part of it. There's just more money involved than I can choke up and I'm shooting for simplicity.

I'll start a thread about it eventually, but since most of the die hards congregate here I wanted to let y'all know that I got 2 turbo set ups to sell. One factory turbo and one aftermarket. If one of you guys that are on here regular are interested PM me and I'll be glad to work you up a super deal. If none of you hit me up I'll put them on the market place for "what they're worth" and sell them to one of the "no so regulars".

Keep on a truckin' oil burners!
