but I leave the key in my truck and the door unlocked (I really can't stand unlocking doors) but my theory is that if they can figure out how to crank it up and make it move, they deserve a few laps around the parking lot.
I generally do around home too. While out shopping in warmer weather, I won't even roll up the window(s). When I go to a bigger town, though, I do pull the keys out and stick them in my pocket. I feel that I have a better chance of driving myself home that way. Of course if I left the mass of keys that is my keychain laying on the seat, no one would want to bother messing with all of that just to steal my old truck.
I also feel fairly safe around home. Between the glow plugs that are on a self-returning toggle switch and the somewhat hidden push button for the starter, no body will be able to get my truck started in order to steal it.
Then there's the saying that I've used for several years now. I can leave the doors unlocked, keys in the ignition, a $100 bill on the dash, along with a note that says "this is yours but you have to take the whole truck!" and everything will still be there in the morning. Having an ugly truck is just one more theft prevention device and it's free!

I've heard that less than 1% of the population can drive a standard transmission............ what's that mysterious 3rd pedal about.......
Well that's just one more that I forgot about. I usually tend to forget about that one since my dad taught me to drive in a 1969 VW Bug when I was 11, so a standard transmission is second nature to me.

68 ford truck, regular cab long bed, 3 on the tree, 360 under the hood, up a hill, while my oldest brother kept yelling, " give it more gas and it won't go dead, ease out on the clutch, you better not roll back down this hill any more! etc" because of that experience I can drive anything with wheels tracks, steel drums, at-at and at-st walkers...

I had a 58 Caterpillar D6 for a while with a hand clutch, that's different.

A rancher that I used to work for had one of those. I don't know the year or what size it was. I did get to operate it a bit. I've also driven a Allis-Chalmers that had both a hand clutch and a foot clutch. Yes they are different.

Harness is coming along. Wiring all the electronic sensors. There’s 8 sensors/gauges. I have another thread from awhile ago that I’m relatively confident that the supply side for fuel should be 1/2” on higher performance applications versus stacking fuel pumps and other things people do. I mentioned I’ll prove it out. Here’s a look at the regulator with high and low side pressure sensors.

Nice set up! What are gauges do you have and what brand ?
Thanks, glowshift max tow. I know they aren’t considered “high end” but the build quality and function is nice. They needle sweep and boot real nice aswell. Plus they are “local” to me incase I need to replace anything I get them quick.

Gauges are: Exhaust temp, water temp, oil pressure, ambient air temp(this is placed on the fender infront of the intake filter allowing me to see the draw and air flow), boost pressure, fuel pressure low side, fuel pressure high side and voltage

Really nice! Looking forward to the results of the research you are doing with the i/2 inch fuel line. Is that line 1/2 from the fuel tank? Did you do do anything different with your return lines?
