Vehicle history reports

Hey guys! Lot's of us on here have ancient relics that have been passed around more than a joint at a Grateful Dead concert. I'm wondering if anyone here has access to vehicle history reports like CARFAX or something similar to run vins. Or possibly point me in a direction of something online already existing that's free. I have searched around but haven't really found anything good. I'm curious what would pop up as far as maintenance goes or possible crashes. Since our Odometers only go to 99k I'm curious if mines rolled over more than a few times and been ridden harder than Seabiscuit.

My truck was commercially owned so it had to be inspected every year. I bought it from the original owner and car fax verified it has 50k miles. Basically every year it would show a record of state inspection and the mileage would be about 1500-2000 more each year. I had to pay I think around $20 for the report.

I was hoping for something similar. Maybe see if a shop put another motor in at some time. Who knows what will pop up? Did you used CarFax @Weldingman?

I’ve looked around and none of the free ones gave me any useful information. I’d like to get one of the good reports eventually, mainly to know how many times the odometer has rolled over!

Yeah I used carfax. I had to pay, but it was worth the $20.

I would like to know as well. Maybe ill just pony up and get a CarFax one.

I was wondering why I didn't get a vehicle history report from CarFax...Only $45 dollars for one :frustrate
