Got in my truck this afternoon, hit my glow plug switch then my key...... and nothing. Popped the hood and touched my Ford edition Case knife to the solinoid and she fired up! The actual switch that's mounted on the column has seemed funny, but nothing to it. It sure is sweet having old stuff that you can keep alive.

I put my darlin in the ditch today. I got really really lucky. Hard to explain in writing. But the Lord was lookin out for me…. Why? I don’t know. But he was. I admittedly was goofin off with some freinds and got too loose with it. And I’m supposed to take it on a few thousand mile journey in a cupple weeks. Some how I only came out of it all with my bed bent up a little bit. Tail gait still works and truck still drives like normal. Nothin a body shop can’t work out. Really if you saw the hit it took you’d be surprised how good it looks. Goes to show how tough these older trucks are. If it had been a new one it would have crumbled like a cookie. You’ll always pay for your sins at some time or another. Just seems like I’d do my fair share of it. Meaby I’ll wise up some day. I’ve learned a lot of lessons the hard way over my short life on earth. And honestly don’t think it would have stuck if it wasn’t hard But some of em I look back on and think “ I could have done without learning that one” hahaha. I’ll kick myself for this one for a few days when I look at the truck bed. But I’ll have a memory made and a lesson learned wether I like it or not

Is that all you can haul in your truck? Must be a F-100.

Yes that little bit is child play, mine can move 2 ton of graval with out flintching. Altho this is not a fair comparison since I have f-super springs. At least his truck is in use and not off sitting the weeds to wither away.

Parallel turbos ought to make that load move at interstate speeds! And of course, I'm just kidding with @captain720 , I'm glad to see anyone USING their truck. The "mall crawlers" are waste of good trucks. Boy, I hope there ain't no IDI mall crawlers.......

Haha yes all jokes are good I have moved a lot more with mine but I always forget to take a photo. I’ve had some pretty heavy scrap runs so far that was just all I had a photo off.

I drove mine into town after work. It was nothing special, but I had a funny thing happen on the way. It was 53* outside and raining so I turned on the heater. About 15 miles down the road, I was thinking that it seemed a little chilly in there and the bottom corners of the windshield were fogging up. I put mu hand over the defrost vents and didn't feel any heat. I thought WTH? The heat is turned almost all the way up and STILL nothing? Then it dawned on me that the shut off valves for the heater core were still bypassing it. I pulled over as soon as I got the chance and switched them back to run coolant through the heater core and it sure didn't take very long to have to turn the heat back down. Kind of amazing how that works.cookoo
