I just wanted to share something. My friends and I all have old trucks, and I guess we never really think about the fact that these are considered “classics” now. Talking to my coworker and some other guys, I’ve realized that they all think my truck will sit in my driveway because I don’t want to mess it up.

No LOL. There’s a reason it’s not going to have a 6000$ paint job. I’m going to use the crap out of it just like I did before

Roughed out a hole for 6x9’s in the back. Also going to spray foam the inside of that little area.

My girlfriend bought this pristine ranger today. It’s an 02 4.0. Has 230k on it but the engine was rebuilt 20k ago along with the trans. One owner truck, always parked inside. Really good deal

Finished with all of the killmat. 2 layers on the roof, 1 layer on the inside of the doors, 1-2 layers all along the floor and 2 layers on the firewall. Just talking inside sounds so much different.

I also got halfway through installing new body bushings. Tomorrow I’ll finish and install The new carpet. I wanted to finish the interior for the most part so I can get all the boxes out of my garage LOL

Kind of wish I had done the same when I had the interior out on my crew cab. Looks good!

@Nero I think that it’ll be pretty nice once it’s all buttoned up. I’ve never really experienced an old truck that was sound deadened so I’m excited to see how it is.

Carpet fits a little better than I thought. I gotta let it sit in the sun. I only did the passenger cab bushings, I broke like 3 things off all thread trying to pull the ones on the drivers side LOL

Not related to my truck but I saw this on YouTube. It’s a p pump 7.3 PowerStroke, but they used the bullnose body. Man that paint job looks sick! Part of me really wants to paint mine black and silver.
