Sad day and clutch (I thought...)

I have pulled my T19 this way. Doesn't leave a lot of room to remove clutch, flywheel, bell. I use alignment dowels as stated earlier to aid installation. Your engine will drop down in the rear when the trans is removed, so should support it. I am not a fan of jacking under the oil pan, but have done so using a piece of plywood with a cutout for the drain plug. Better would be to support along the side rails of the pan but not a lot of space there. Maybe a 4x4 across the fenders and a chain, similar to the way the trans is supported.
