Hard Fuel Line possible adapters/connections

You could just use some stainless safety wire and a clamptite type tool. You could also use some stainless safety wire and just twist it until it's tight, not cut into the hose tight, but somewhat tight, and do two of them. Doesn't look as good as a clamptite tool does but two will do the job. I've done both and a wire clamp like that can take up some slack from a 1/16" mismatch. Just don't twist it too tight and possibly cut the hose.
It's most likely a 5/16 hose bead. They make 5/16 to 3/8 adapters if you wanted to do it that way.

Thank y’all. Got it figured out for now at least.
Fuel injection hose clamps rock! I've had leaky transmission cooler lines for years where the steel line ended and the rubber line started. I'll never use a worm gear clamp again - but the sizes these clamps are available in is limited...
