any of you guys that have bought and installed the fans, have any results to report back?
I installed in my 1994 IDIT last weekend. Also installed a new clutch. I unbolted the fan shroud, left it hanging. I loosened the fan belt. Then removed the old fan and clutch. Used the tool from O'Reilly's and pipe wrench with a pipe leverage.
Fits very good. I can feel it's pulling more air. Not as hot today; but, temp was 10 degrees lower. My test will be next month when I tow my 11k RV, 5th wheel.

I am very interested to hear some reports too. I am often limited by engine temps when towing in the mountains.

I can certainly tell you all the things I have seen from running one for the last year and a half, but here is a post I made about bad fan clutches on fb pages that highlights some of it

Want to talk a failed clutch… two weeks ago I saw 257° for a quick minute. Was a 97° day and I was pulling my 42’ fifth wheel that scales @ 14,600 lbs. Was a very long ride home doing 50 mph in the heat with the heater blowing.

New clutch in and todays trip pulling 6% grades I never saw anything above 230°. For the most part she ran 206-210°. I completely attribute it to A A Ron Ioder’s custom 9 blade fan! My old truck has run hot from day one that Ive owned it so the clutch has probably been bad all along but didn’t really show up until I swapped the fan.

Public service announcement
If you aren't hearing your fan clutch lock when hauling, it's likely bad...
If it is hitting 220* + without it locking its bad.

I had another guy stop by towing an empty 10k rated car trailer and he had seen 260 on some grades,
Swapped my fan in and a new clutch, even without a shroud(which I highly recommend you run a stock shroud) his crusing temps dropped from 220 to 200
And with a jeep on the same trailer on the same trip over a grade never saw over 230

What do you mean by this? Taking the shroud off?

Here's picture proof fits on V belt too. Was able to put it in without removing rad hose or shroud but not recommended

I wonder of it can fit vans. Might be risky though. You have to fish your arm in right in the center to reach the transmission dipstick behind the upper radiator hose/alternator. Blades poking out would be a real danger to elbows.

I have had several people report back saying it cools fantastic and post a pic without a shroud. It cools better than the stock fan without a shroud.
But I do not recommend running without a shroud even through there seems to be lots of people do.
In order to get maximum effectiveness out of both the cooling system and the fan a shroud needs to be used! And I recommend everyone have and use a shroud regardless of my fan or not

I have yet to have anyone order one for a van, had a couple people inquire about them, though.
I have yet to find anything different about a fan
For A truck vs a van being different, I would assume they are the same.
I can't speak for how much more dangerous the fan might make checking the trans fluid. Lol

I think you would be fine just be extra cautious. It doesn't seem to stick out much more than the factory fan

Anyone get ahold of this guy? Waiting to hear back from him so I can wrap up my cooling system
I have, but it might be easier to get ahold of him on Facebook.

I did send him a message to check his messages here, hope he reaches back to you soon!
