Hello,
this is not specifically IDI related question, but rather F250 related.
Perhaps anyone knows how to open the dome light cover? I cannot find any screws on it, yet it sits firmly in the upper back of the cab interior.
The reason is burnt light bulb. Lat time I replaced light bulb there was so long time ago that I don't recall anything :)

Regards
Sergey

There are tabs that snap into the front and back. If you squeeze it carefully it should pop out. You an also use a thin screwdriver to pop it out. But be careful because these lights are old now and I have seen the lens disintegrate. One good thing about them is those lights were used in ford and gm cars and trucks.

If you end up breaking it, LMC Truck has new ones. They also have a clear refraction type lens that I like a lot better than the original white lens.

Yep. Buy that and the LED bulb that they sell and you can see pretty well inside at night. I'm sure that others sell those bulbs too, but it's kind of a matter of convience.

Great, thank you for detailed instructions. I will certainly try to remove and keep original, but if end up breaking it you showed me the way for great replacement part.
Have great weekend

I already had an LED bulb so didn't get LMCs... but I agree, the clear lens with a decent LED bulb lights up the cab a lot better.
