So my radiator is toast, and I'm looking at a Champion . What coolant can you run in these; fleetguard works, or??? This is for the 91 F350

Zerex G-05. No additives needed. Pour and go. Auto Parts stores all tend to have it in stock in both full strength and 50/50. I run it in my RV.

"Zerex G05 is a nitrite containing coolant designed to protect diesel engine cylinder liners from cavitation."

"ZEREXG05® is the automaker approved original chemistry used in newer Ford®, Chrysler® and Mercedes-Benz® automotive and diesel engines."

If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for IDIs.

(not sponsored by Zerex LOL )

I use Fleetcharge(NAPA) but it's getting harder to find. Also a pour and go, the next step up is Final Charge that is a lifetime HD coolant.

Zerex is probably a better bet these days as Orielly and Autozone etc are everywhere.

Fleetguard also is precharded, but ignore the part where it says 'good for a million miles' because that's insinuating it's in a heavy duty diesel.
Currently have Fleetguard in my dad's crew cab, soon to have it in mine as well after I swap in my aluminum rad, which is also a champion.
You happen to see they had the 3 row in stock too? Mine hasn't shown up yet, delayed at their PDx sorting facility.

I went with final charge. Pricey, but there’s no need to ever check or add SCAs. If you have traditional (green) antifreeze in your truck now, you’ll have to flush all of it out of your engine block and heater core. The green and red don’t mix. Depending on your radiator choice you’ll need 6-8 gallons. Stock rad is 8, but my champion 3 core only took like 6.5

You need to run an extra ground strap from the new radiator to the truck frame ,
also how many rows doesn’t matter ,

the size of the tubes does and how
fast you can dissipate heat
