PM sent for the Saginaw bracket.

Hopefully you're getting the annoying spacer/bushing with it that goes behind the bracket for mounting it. Changing Saginaw pump on vans means taking out the bracket due to being unable to remove the pulley in vehicle, and it was a bit annoying putting the bushing back. That's how I know about that darn thing, having messed with it a bunch. It's required or the bracket will be loose.

So keep that in mind if it doesn't come with it, you may need to find or make something close.

Thank you for the tip! That is very good to know, I don't know for sure if I'm going to do the conversion, but I want to document this swap as much as possible for anyone who wants to do the swap but can't find an IDI van in the junkyards. If nothing else, it's another rare part for my collection. I would love to ditch the supercharger in my truck for a Saginaw pump, but I have no idea how that's going to work since I'm set up with hydroboost.

I did Saginaw with that bracket and a hydroboost setup, pretty sure there are pictures of what I did in my build thread. I can take pictures if you need. Learning what all the different types of fittings were to get the correct pieces was the hardest, followed by making hoses. Not too bad overall I thought.

Van hoses might be all you need, if they can reach the gearbox on a truck. Trucks & vans all used the same gearbox so that end of the hoses should be right. And the return line end at the Saginaw pump is a bare 3/8" hose that slides onto a hose barb.

Oh and beware when buying a Saginaw pump. O'Reilly sold me an incorrectly rebuilt pump. The company put this in backwards. The bushing should be facing into the pump with the pump up against the bracket. The stud is what fits into the slot of the bracket.

Left is correct, right is wrong. O'Reilly gave me a refund since I ended up ordering a bare pump and reused the old reservoir, and didn't need it anymore. Either return it or turn the nut around. I didn't want to void the warranty on a slightly expensive retail priced pump by doing that. Just don't be tempted to grind the bracket if you run into this because it's not a bracket issue.
