Hate to start a thread and couldn't find it. What's the glow plug cable gauge?

It’s not mine, I’ll be doing a little work on it though. It’s ridiculous how small this thing is.

Truck runs great though good power, EGT’s stay really low. Highest I saw was 960, and that was with my foot in it accelerating up hill. Only issue I’ve had so far was the silicone elbow popping off of the turbo a couple of times. I upgraded to a slightly better T-bolt clamp, and that seems to be helping.

Actually did it about a week ago, but replaced my lift pump...so far so good. The one that was replaced had the old style lever on it so I'm guessing it's been there a while. The oil in the crank case does not appear to have been contaminated. Fingers crossed.

Bought a house so the truck has to do some actual work now. Everybody at the equipment rental and landscape supply places seems to like seeing the old truck putting in some work. Towing the dinky little rental utility trailer with sod cutter may have been the first thing the truck ever towed and probably wasn't much of a test of anything but my ability to back a dinky trailer. After the second load of soil for the garden beds the gal in the loader said, "I love those old trucks, they can haul anything"

I went out to Gettysburg and finally picked me up a welder generator.

It's a Lincoln 225 with a 16 hp Briggs and Stratton.
Nice machine.
I'm buying a military trailer from my uncle to setup as a service trailer with the welder on it.

My chiropractor has a similar one he uses to plow his parking lot. Of course NJ gives him a huge hassle driving it on roads here, but once in a while I'll see him putting along

That's my truck hood liner "repurposed" as housing for an extended family of rodents.

It was packed into fan and resistor.

Resistor plug melted. A vacuum, a long time of compressed air on the fins and fan blandes, new resistor and harness.

Blower has been "acting up" for years then stopped entirely.

Rodents left without paying last months rent

Finished lifters!! 2 years! Chuffs of smoke gone, I still feel like it's louder than most but I guess I'll see at the rally.

Need to time it and put other mirror on. During test drive I really liked all that visibility, even with no trailer. It was fun pulling it out of shop though haha.

Next is
make new battery cables,
tighten parking brake
Install cupholder that 3d Ford parts finally made
Replace batteries (mine are from 2017)

Then daily drive it until rally

Yesterday I got up early and took two loads of brick and junk trim wood and trash up to the dump before work. Stretched her legs a little bit. Had the Speedo Needle almost to the second gear on my dash haha. Think that equates to 90 mph. I’ll pay for it later I’m sure. But still felt good. Then took three girls out for supper and donuts in the field. I had to laugh. Told em I never thaught I get a girl up in my truck. Let alone three at one time hahahaha

Finally got around to rebuilding my trailer hitch assembly on my F-SuperDuty. 1/2" thick bottom plate 42x24". 4 vertical gussets measuring 1/2"x20". Hitch tube is welded to the square tube top member front and rear and is welded into a "C" channel rear bar which is then welded into the rear of the bumper. No pictures of that fitup and weld. basically the C channel was hammered thru the other side of the bumper and then welded so that trailing force will have to pull a 30" tube thru the bumper wall to get the hitch tube out.

I was especially proud with how that triangular gusset came out, weld is continuous all the way around the tube and gusset, about 12" non stop at 26V 380ipm.

Also making new tank straps for my rear fuel tank since I couldnt find any that fit my truck. The rear tank had been replaced with a 22 gallon poly tank but the person who did it cut the straps off and replaced them with ratchet straps.

These are galvanized steel commercial studs. I have one mocked up and bolted on with 3/8" bolts on either end. Ran out of wire before I could tack the cuts together so had to put new ratchet straps back on until my new spool comes in.

I guess me rear seal on the transfer is leaking. Leaking ATF down the u joint. Extra lubrication doesn't hurt:D

Could be your slip yoke as well. There's a pressed in metal plug under all that gunk between the two ears, sort of like a freeze plug. I was doing some "while I'm in there.." u-joint replacement while doing my clutch this weekend and found some hack goobered a bunch of silli-con-carne all over the OD of the plug, which masqueraded as grease and shifted the leakage prime suspect to the transfer case output seal. Peeled that off, dropped it in an ultrasonic cleaner to de-gunk, popped the end of my air gun in the spline bore and let 'er rip..sure enough, had 2-3 sections around the plug blowing bubbles.

That said, I was a little conflicted fixing it though, as it seemed to do an awfully good job rustproofing the undercarriage..
