Okay so I have a coolant leak on the passenger side of my truck. Its an 85 crew cab 6.9 with a t19. The coolant is coming off the motor somewhere then dripping off the passenger side front wheel wheel and also dripping off the inspection cover for the t19. It drips when the motor is off and I’ve tried starting the truck and seeing where it’s coming from. The coolant looks clean and doesn’t bubble, I’ve ran the truck with the cap off to check. The oil also looks clean. Just looking for some advice on where to check and how to find the leak. Any input is appreciated.

After a little investigation it’s looking like a heater core leak. Hoping that’s it and it’s not anything else.

So from the engine to the firewall? I was suspecting a head gasket or some such.
Heater core is easy enough.
At least easier than a head gasket.

What about a leak
From the thermostat area? I pressurized my tank and found two
Leaks..one where the top radiator hose meets the rad..and then dripping coming from
Behind the radiator.

If it’s heater core you may also want to take a look at the carpet underneath the glove box. May have gotten some in there too. I imagine a good carpet cleaning would get it up. I had mine leaking in there and after I fixed the core I never cleaned the carpet though, little dark spots in it still :/
