What are you wanting to accomplish with the advance bypass?
Having so much advance once it's got enough heat in the pre-chamber seems like a pointless thing, no?What are you wanting to accomplish with the advance bypass?
Thanks Nero, but I'm looking to do the opposite, switch it off once it's firing smoothly but leave the fast idle as is. I'm not looking to go booting off sooner, I have a long slow drive to the road which could be done sensibly without the advance.Unless the coolant switch isn't working... I wouldn't run a switch to them. I've wired the fast idle and advance to a pair of toggle switches before, until my coolant switch came in, at the time (2014) the switch was on back order in my area.
I'm not qualified to answer father on this one. I'll let a pump expert such as Russ chime in.Having so much advance once it's got enough heat in the pre-chamber seems like a pointless thing, no?
Fast idle yes, so long on advance no.
Wrecked,Thanks Nero, but I'm looking to do the opposite, switch it off once it's firing smoothly but leave the fast idle as is. I'm not looking to go booting off sooner, I have a long slow drive to the road which could be done sensibly without the advance.
What? Tired of the cardboard? I can't blame you there.I also bought a new right side vent window for those with eagle eyes,
