If it’s leaking out the weep hole it’s time for a new one. Also check your oil for fuel in it as a precaution.

You are talking about the fuel pump on the lower passenger side of engine and not injection pump on top of engine.

Which fuel pump are you talking about? The lift pump on the side of the engine or the injector pump on top of the engine?

ah i was wondering if it was like a water pump, is this something that has to replaced asap or can it wait a couple days?

Most likely it’s been leaking for a little while already. You may be fine for a couple of days or it may die when you least expect It. It’s telling you it’s time. Make sure you're not getting fuel in your oil, it will thin it out and cause a whole new set of problems.

Yep, if the lift pump is leaking, replace it.

If the exhaust isn’t hazing white and you’re oil doesn’t look like it has diesel in it I’m sure you could let it leak for a while longer. But it’s never a good idea to let issues with flow to the injection pump linger. It needs to stay lubed up and it running dry is never good. Never know when it’ll be on its last leg.
