Finally got another full size diesel. 1984 Ford f250 6.9 with the T19 4speed. Been in my family since 1991. Spend a bit of my childhood in her. My aunt finally decided that its time to pass it on to someone else! Luckly I was the person she contacted! Now she is mine! Got her shipped last week from socal to Colorado (were I know live). Im excited to get her fully operational.

MY PROGRESS: Started as a 1986 F250 SC LB 6.9L IDI C6 Auto 4x4 with Banks Turbo & Exhaust. I added 6" Rough Country suspension Lift", "Gear Vendor Overdrive" New Front Brakes, Lines, Calipers & Rotors.
Rebuilt Steering Collum. went over every inch of frame and axles with a wire wheel on my cordless drill wiped entire thing down with alcohol & painted the axles with gloss black caliper paint

That's one greeeen truck! If you ran WVO you could totally boast a "green" truck and maybe get an Al Gore sponsorship.

Front tank does have oil in it and surprisenly this truck gets great mpg's if I'm easy on the throttle I e achieved just 4 gallons of diesel mixed with hotshots on my regular 100mile trip..... pretty darn impressive even in modern day trucks

Yeah, back when I could monitor it with the t19 I was getting 15mpg. Since I went zf5 I don't have a speedometer, but I know it's pretty good and I run WMO.
