I believe that your two relatively high volume options are Promar and Jasper. I'm not sure if Jasper still does any of our engines these days. I believe that Justin from R&D IDI Performance may sell some, but the numbers aren't very high. He's a one man show and has a lot on his plate so he can't devote much time to any one type of project so he doesn't put out many engines if he still does any at all.

If you buy from Promar (probably Jasper too), carefully check the two oil galley plugs that are on either side and above the cam at the front of the engine. There has been instances of these falling out which causes a loss of oil pressure. Your best bet is to use a sharp chisel and "ping" (as I call it) either side of the recess that these plugs sit in to hold them in place. All you're wanting to do is to slightly deform the metal around the plugs to hold them in place. Do this BEFORE reassembly and installation to avoid having to take your engine back apart. The best solution for these plugs is to throw them away and tap the galley holes out to 1/4" NPT and install pipe plugs here. This can ONLY be done before assembly of any part of the engine. There will be metal shavings left after you tap the holes and they will need to be cleaned out while you are just working with a bare block. Unfortunately, the shop I used to work at where I learned this trick is no longer in the engine business (they just work on the owner's junk for his scrap iron business). I do this to my engines and Wes said that he started doing it after I told him about it. Wes doesn't offer any reman engines for sale to the public. They are just for his projects at his shop. There may be a few others on here who do the pipe plug trick, but, again, it's only for their own engine builds.
