I’m in Western NC and I’m trying to get my new pump timed. I’ve checked the list on here, and the closest person is about 3.5 hrs away in Raleigh. I’m about the same distance from Moose Diesel (previously Conestoga) in Gilbert, SC. I’ll give them a call tomorrow. Just trying to see if anyone’s a little closer.

Thanks.

I’ll give that a try. Thanks. I called Moose Diesel today. They rent out the equipment to get it in time. That may be my best option.

Curious to know what shop is in Raleigh. I’m in the area and will be needing timing soon. Thanks for any information.

Spruce Pine/Burnsville area. But I’m working in Johnson City.

Minimallimits I just ran across the guy on the timing page in the tech articles. I haven’t tried getting in touch with him yet.

For anyone else looking at this thread and wanting the timing equipment, this is what I purchased. I offered 200 and it was accepted.

You won't regret it. After adding up the cost of paying a shop to check/set your timing, you'll see that it will pay for itself in just a few uses.

All the shops I’ve gotten a hold of said they just turn it a lines worth towards the passenger side. They said you don’t need any meters to do it. I figured I’d just get one for myself.

You don't need the meter to move the IP which changes the timing. You do need a meter to read the timing to see where it's set. Without a meter, you're just shooting in the dark.
