Not sure if this is particularly unsafe or environmentally friendly but I feel it's better then taking it to the oil recycle or dumping in the dump. I have burned the stuff in soup can in wood stoves, super hot burn pile, and blended with some oil and taken to recyclers.
This took a while to boil the water off to get it to burn nicely. I could smell the difference when all the water was gone. My hot plate was pretty under powered for the job.
What do you guys do?

Burn-pile or backyard 'camp' fire is where my rags and sludge go to. No centrifuge yet. I would bucket it for recycling if I had a lot.

I send it to the oil disposal at the local tip. With waste veg oil and veg oil with too many solids I mix it with hardwood sawdust I get from a local furniture maker. Put the mix in small cardboard boxes and burn them in my wood heater. They pack a punch and really reduce the amount of wood I have to burn. I did try the same idea with some WMO, in a really hot fire it burnt well but was a bit smokey and you could really smell it. WVO you can barely smell.
