Anyone here running a walbro electric lift pump? My mr gasket 95gph pump failed. This is the second one lost to WMO. I did some more research and found a Walbro Frc-13 pump. It's a reciprocating piston pump instead of a vane pump like I have been running. Claims on their website says it's approved for b100 and most greasecar kits come with one so I think it would handle WMO. It's about $150 bit if it last longer than the $110 me gasket I guess it's worth it.

Just curious if any of you guys had played with one.

Oh and it's made in the USA

I'm sorry I wasn't clear...where did you mount it? Is it like the other pumps that draws it from the tanks or is it a pusher?

I run several FRB-13's in various applications now and will be getting back into a WMO blend. 50/50 at most, 70/30 usually. Im and very curious as to how the FRB's will hold up. They have been great on pump fuel

I have the Irate diesel electric fuel set up on my 96 stroke. It uses the Walbro GSL392 pump, in the 2.5 years I've had it I've gone through 4 pumps. Some were running straight diesel and some on wmo. I'm in the process of trying to find something better. I'll check out the ones mentioned above.

I believe a stock super duty pump runs a bit higher psi then that. How about running 2? A low pressure high volume one to feed a higher pressure pump to feed the engine?

I know we like to keep things simple but when it comes to running thicker fuel, it's sure hard to find pumps that stand up and maybe a second pump would be better

Recently found out that the FRB-13 does not do well with WMO/diesel blend. It still clicks and cycles as it normally does, but doesn't move much fuel at all or build near enough fuel psi.
I have had 100% good reliability with it otherwise however, on straight diesel.

I am now going to try a FRB-22, to see if I can do a little better with a WMO/diesel blend
