Looking for pretty much any winch bumper. Ideally a warn ;) but any winch bumper would be awesome. Truck is a 1989 with solid axle 4WD

PM or reply to thread if you have anything

Thanks

I've been searching for one as well for my truck. I am in Florida, so you likely won't have competition from me . They are out there. Just hard to find IMO, and even harder to find for a bricknose.

If you are willing and able to weld up a bumper kit movebumpers.com has a good option. I put one of their kits on my truck and this is how it turned out.

Looks great!

Would you mind posting some more pictures of that bumper on your truck from some different angles?

A little fab work never hurt anybody :idiot:

Some good pictures of how they mount to the frame and the winch plate would be sweet, I’ve been debating fabbing own mount but haven’t been able to find any good photos of how it gets mounted up.

This thread has some great pictures of the old WARN bumpers mounting but you’d need a heavy duty metal brake for this design

That's what I've got on mine but chrome diamond plate. I took some pics for @chillman88 previously but I will attempt to get some better ones now and post them up. If this one flakes the chrome off and rusts, I may just make a new one.

Heres the bumper. Would be pretty easy to replicate. Note the angle iron cross member. The Ramsey winch bolts to the front of the bumper with four bolts. I replaced the rusted ones with some nice B12 hardware we had at the shop. I like this flats on this bumper because I can toss my foam pad on and kneel easily while working on the engine and its a great spot to stand or rest a foot while sitting on the rad support if say, working on the back of the engine.

I made a winch mount for my brick nose years ago. All of the structure was behind the factory front bumper with a trailer hitch receiver hidden behind the front license plate. Mounted the winch on a piece of I-beam then welded and thru bolted piece of heavy wall 2x2 square tubing to the bottom. This allows the winch to be removed and the square hole in the bumper is hidden by a front license plate.

Do you have any pictures? I've always wanted a setup like that, I just am not sure what is the best way to mount the cross bar with the hitch on it to the frame rails with the leaf spring hanger in the way

I got rid of the truck however did cut off the winch mount, and I still have it. I'll take a couple pics and attach to this thread.

Here's a couple pics of the truck with and without winch installed. Also couple pics of the winch mount I made + couple pics of the winch itself which is mounted on a piece of I-BEAM.
