You can see the leak starting at the back driver side valve cover..with the bolts being hand tight I guess it could be worse.

Congratulations on your little Girl.
You won`t be seeing these much -Showtits
some one else has dibs on them now.

A few winters back, the Water Pump
started to leak. And being cold just took
it to a shop. They called and said the
Power Steering pump is leaking, and the
Valve Covers. Being in there, why not?
I knew they were leaking.

A year or so later, the drivers side started
to leak. So pulled ea bolt out, blew the
hole out and cleaned off the bolt threads.
Then used Loc-Tite, and it is still dry.

It`s been over 2 years back. The Pass side
is a mess, just haven`t got to it yet.

So use some Loc-Tite on those bolts.

I could be wrong about this, but it looks like you need to flip it around.

Tried both ways, compared them to old gaskets and it looks like they fit a different style valve cover, same shape and same bolt pattern just tabs are different.

Cut the tabs off flush and went for it.

This was a good project! Found some loose injectors to torque down and other little things to do. Put babygirl in the car seat up in the cab and got it done. let mama sleep!

Do you mean using that to replace the other connector you pictured?

If so, best to find something that can handle the amperage. Or, use this new connector for everything except the two yellow wires that feed the GP's.

I looked at the listing and it's for like 14 gauge wires.

Did a little brake action. Wheel cylinder and whatever else decided to act up.

Parking adjuster looking like a little knife. Wasn't even hooked up turns out.

Had to use a 2 9/16 socket for the wheel bearing nut.
Nice little 12.99 brake drum tool kit from Harbor.

Truck is gonna sit for the week while I work on the other side and get the diff fluid swapped , since I have to take axle spindles out to even get near them drums.

Sup all

Anybody ran into this sensor being different for the proportion valve? The original is a 2 wire..new one comes with single wire.

I'm wondering if I can delete it?

I believe that is the sensor that turns on your brake warning light if one side of the brake system fails. It looks like the old one grounds through the 2nd wire while the new one grounds through the body of the valve. To figure out which wire to use, with the key on, touch one wire to ground then the other and see which one turns the brake warning light on.
