Missy called the campground yesterday afternoon. No one was in the office. She did leave a message. Their voicemail recording said they are filling up fast for the remainder of 2021 and will open spots for 2022 in May. Which doesn't sound good for a summer OB rally. Will let you all know as soon as we hear back from the campground.

Greenbrier called Missy back today. Unfortunately, as I had feared, they are full except for a site or two all July and August. So I’m out for 2021. I just don’t have the time at this point to travel and scout other campgrounds/places.

However, they will let me reserve spots for 2022 starting in May. I will be glad to do that if Jared and I are hosting in 2022. Not going to reserve those sites for the 2022 rally if there is gonna be a voting thread and whatnot for 2022 as I’m not going to waste their (campgrounds) time if that isn’t going to be where the 2022 rally is going to be.

I’ll be honest, I had a bid ready that I was going to pitch this year but with all the uncertainty around what May or may not be open, I just can’t pitch it. Until the Covid thing is under control it’s going to be really tough to schedule things that far in advance.

I guess I said all that to say I wish anybody luck who tries to put something together. It’s going to be challenging.

If you and Jared would like to commit to 2022, we can start a thread for 2022 also.... and have that plan set.

Will discuss it with Missy, Jared, and Jill. If so, we will pick the dates and reserve the sites when they open up. Jared or I will start the 2022 thread once we know A). We're going to do it... and B) Once we pick the dates.

Lots of cool camp grounds in Wisconsin and we probably are one of the states with minimal covid restrictions. State park Camp sites book fast but Glenwood city Wisconsin is a County park and it's a beautiful place and usually pretty open. If it was considered as a option time frame could be pretty open as long as its not a holiday weekend its usually pretty open

If it's in Wisconsin, I'd definitely be interested....
