Seat help

We recently acquired a 2005 f450 (gasp: 6.0L) and I have to admit the seats in there are nice. Only problem is, the seats I have (89 ish) are already configured for tilt/slide forward in one go, making entry end exit fairly easy from the back. Maybe I could modify the frames to accept the older reclining mechanism, but it would take some fiddling.

This is why I just used the track. It’s not quite as handy but it works. It’s now two levers instead of one.

Hopefully I’ll get to do the door-add mod in the not too distant future.

hey thanks for the advice. trying to restore an old 7.3 crew cab and the replacement seat options are scarce.

Welcome.

If you have a crew cab, then the options are better. Just look for any crewcab SD pickups because that swap has been done before.
