I'm right there with you on this one. This cold weather has set me back on my list of things that need to get done.
Agreed and I miss the simple things too like sitting outside and just looking at nature and watching the river flow by. Winter sucks.

I agree too. We have been below zero highs for quite a while now, and it doesn't look like it's improving any time soon. I'd be happy with just being able to go outside and not choke on the air.

I still sit outside while my dog runs around and watch the ice flow byx the ducks diving, and the eagles playing. Never to cold to enjoy America.

I like working in the garage with my dog and the heat on watching the snow fall through the windows [emoji23]

If the snow is falling through the windows, it might be warmer inside, if you did something about that! ;)

man I thought my 2 Taco Bell bags were bad

Yea what I drag around would dwarf what you would get from Taco Bell. Will start with a 60+ pound brick of common tools.

Then you need tools to make life easy, a die grinder and greas gun dont fit in this bag so are somewhere in the truck.

Then what is needed for some dodiagnostic work on cars.

Edit: am not counting the amp clamp, need to find it.

You also need something to get plastic pieces apart

Today, while I was walking home for lunch, i was thinking that the wind was really sharp and it was cutting through my coveralls. When I was taking everything off at home, I discovered the the front zipper had broken. It was at the top, but the teeth were all open. So that explained the chill in the nether regions. I decided to buy another pair after work. First, I finally got to pick up my repaired dually fenders so I tool the to my garage and sit them inside the Ex Wife (pictures in the build thread). Then I drove over to Orschlen and bought some new coveralls. I didn't do anything very exciting, but at least I got to go somewhere besides work and home.

Thanks, this is the current evolution of my tools I keep on hand. You start with with cheap tools and get mad at them, then one by one they get replaced by better ones. Like a harbor fuel gauge set, the sharter valves are too small where need removed and you change fittings around to much. I now have a snap on master kit that just works without any tomfoolery and less waste of time to use. Started with air tools and those now are superseded by cordless tools, still have the air but most are in a box that gathers dust now. When doing electric work, there is shinny stuff that also finds its way into what I have to aid in giving answers. That fluke 105b is a bit of a relect of the past but dose still give relavent data even if limited, a 190 would be a good upgrade but funds are not available.

These are some photos of its use, think these where testing cam and crank sensors.

These are testing to see if all injector are the same on a d-max, this is a good injector wave form at idle.

I have a garage but did not get a camper, so cant be down there hibernating out of the cold this winter. Being out in the cold is miserable and no fun.

I think that the big man was watching because I just got an email from pick n pull saying that this weekend all bumpers and body parts are 25 bucks. That was good timing!
