I know this is an old thread, but what changes need to be made as far as the wiring? The factory plug on the firewalls is square, were all of my v belt idi trucks have a round plug

Off the top of my head, you'll need to change the alternator wiring. The V belt ones pivot to adjust the belt tension. The ones for serpentine belts bolt down solidly. They don't move since there is a belt tensioner pulley. The V belt alternators are 1G while the serpentine belt ones are 3G. If you've already converted to a V belt 3G, then you may not have to rewire, but I'm far from being an electrical expert. Other than the alternator, I can't think of anything that has to be rewired.

Awesome! Thank you alot bud. I have already converted to the 3g so I have that going for me. I really don't want to convert as all my accessories are fairly new, but having a fit trying to get the CDD cold air tube to fit without hitting the ac pump and lines. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Either way thank you on that response. Extremely helpful boss

You're welcome. I have no advice with the CDD intercooler kits since I haven't worked with one yet.
