Goals for 2021, I want to see all my customer projects completed, I would like to see one of my db2s make a four digit hp number on the dyno, and I would like to see my truck back on the road.

should be ready to try a run again saturday.

Well think acoplised getting my truck ready to run for last year.

I have managed a run without to much issue, she did ask for too much oil. I thought oil leaks where fixed since only needed a quart before I left, this is 115 miles in town dirving. At about the 80 mile mark got the oil gauge getting jittery then falling slowly, it was ~3 quarts low there and at the destanation. At the 160 mile point, it took 11.73 gallons for a fill so 13.64 mpg for the run one way. For the 115 miles in town, it took 9.95 gallons for a fill so 11.56 mpg there. This was all worth it so can say last years mission is compleat but has losse ends, like oil vanishing and erratic running issues.

I think (hope) that I got everything done to the Blue Truck so that I can make the trip to San Antonio. Since the rear seal leaks bad enough that the oil probably replaces itself within 7000 miles, I just change the filter every once in a while. I put a new FL1995 on her today. I also replaced the broken alternator bracket with the one that I robbed from the Ex Wife. This was the one that goes over the top of the alternator, not the lower one that the vacuum pump mounts to. There's more than just that, but I'll post it in her build thread.

Still need lifters and selector valve, but these were taking up room in shop and I've been throwing everything away. Everything is going! I have been a hoarder and it has been getting in the way of making money! They look up side down but cannot be installed the other way.

Steve won't stop making fun of me that it may run like **** and be unreliable right now, but at least I can see at night

He has a point, yes, but now I have all this shelf space!

Just need to get a shopping list together for lifter project then try to schedule a break in work for it before spring when this truck comes out of hibernation

Steve is right. Those do look weird. Are you absolutely sure you got them on right? It's a good thing I'm not local to you, or I might be there laughing, in person. But you say they work, and that's the important thing, the objective of the whole exercise.

Today I changed the glow plugs on my f250 with ZD9s and also replaced the connector ends with some that I got from fleabay.I bought the connectors alone a while ago and they were complete junk and were way to loose on the GPs,but I figured I would try the pigtails and splice them on nice. They fit just as good as the factory connectors and I am impressed with them.Truck starts like dream now.The past couple weeks I was having to leave the block heater plugged in because if the glow plugs,so it's nice to get back to normal.I really wanted to buy a complete harness from Wes,but things are kind of tight right now.(Not implying Wes' prices are expensive, or anything like that.I think those harnesses are priced very fair for such high quality)

No such luck. I'm planning to stop in and say hi to Wes on my way through. It will be getting hot rodded when I dive back into it though. I believe that I've just about got everything to put a turbo on it after I fix the leaky rear main seal.

Besides, this is just going to be a driver. The Ex Wife will be the hot rod truck. Eventually.

I finally have a clutch kit after FedEx screwed up the routing. The box looks like it went through a wood chipper but everything appears to be inside and undamaged. I'm hoping it's not too cold outside this weekend so I can get the pump pulled off my parts truck. I'm not running the 110 pump without a turbo and already sent my old na pump back for the core.

On December 13th I ordered a 2k lbs engine stand from JEGS. It came up as delivered on the 23rd but it was nowhere to be found. I filed a claim with FedEx and they called me saying it was picked up from my house due to minor shipping damages. Well it finally came in today and I’m less than pleased. It’s missing a whole bag of hardware and all the paint is messed up, plus one support is bent. I called and they said they’d send a new one but it won’t be here until February 10th.
