hello! I have an 86 F250 6.9 IDI 4 spd manual trans around 90,000 miles, I just bumped into pole during snow storm, it pushed radiator into fan, I love this truck! So I went and had the original copper brass radiator completely REBUILT cost me $500, month before that I had new clutch put in, master cylinder/slave cylinder and brand new brake master cylinder, I pulled front end out put radiator in filled with coolant, bought concentrated coolant mixed myself prolly 60/40 , took her down road and blew bottom radiator hose off, (more than likely an error on my part, in a hurry!) Towed it home put new radiator hose on refilled radiator started truck and its smoking/steaming from passenger side top of motor, also VERY VERY SLOW DRIP from bell housing and starter, very slow drip, however the smoking/steaming is concerning me and its wanting to overheat (didn't drive it today) just idling up to 1,500 at times for 20-30 minutes it started to get hot and overheat, any ideas???

You will need to find the source of the leak first and foremost. It is likely the cause of your steam problem. Your overheating is likely due to an air bubble stuck in the motor and it will need run for a minute or so to get it worked out.
