That dont look too bad.... I hit a 8 point whitetail doing 105 one night; in a marked patrol unit: a 2018 Chevrolet crew cab. My buddy was hollering for help at a domestic disturbance 22 miles away. Mr Deer decided that he wanted to challenge the pick up.... when it was all said and done the only thing left salvageable was the driver side fender ; grille guard was smashed up. Everything else including the passenger side tire was toast. It was more exciting than a Disneyland ride.

Ouch I'll say at 105 it would be!

They're great so far after this morning. I'll see how they hold up.

How they hold up is the real goal. I typically buy the cheap ones just so I don't feel as bad replacing them in 3 months when they start streaking....

After trying for several years to find a 'better' wiper, I found the expensive ones don't seem to really last longer (even the silicone ones). Went back to OEM style Trico blades. Found they last almost as long as the expensive ones, and honestly couldn't tell much differnce in wiping quality. At only $9 delivered, the fancy ones aren't wort the price to me.

However, I don't get ice and snow so I can't speak for that environment.

Gotta love Texas this time of year. Horns and Hawgs. Glad you're safe, Joe, and We appreciate all of our LEO's here in the Hill Country.

Decided to replace the two part fuel filter with a one piece. WELL, the bottom cap was tight, the filter was tight. I found my two favorite tools for getting that old POS off. A spanner and a strap wrench. I put a plastic sheet under the old filter before I broke it loose. I caught the diesel and then sopped it up with rags and I didn't get diesel all over the engine and driveway.
Surprisingly, the truck was running great before. When I saw this, I almost voted for Biden. (Not really) I just got the truck this summer and have been going over it.
New shocks are going on this weekend. Probably front tires after that.

18SD Bosch. $4.62 imagination squares to your door in like two days. Get some, try em out, toss that sweet rock auto magnet on your collection I know we all have and see how they hold up!

I started out to replace the brake booster on the Blue Truck tonight after work. When I pulled the master cylinder loose from the booster, I found out where my brake fluid has been disappearing to. Of course, the rear seal in the master is leaking. It's a very slow leak. It takes almost a year to leak out. I couldn't tell that any was running down the booster either. So it's back inside so that I can give money to Rock Auto. Then I found out that the push rod in the reman booster is sticking out exactly the same as the one on my old booster. I put the reman booster on and was just going to slip the master back on so that I can drive the truck and found out that the studs on the reman booster are about 1/8" closer together than the ones on the old one are.:frustrate Why can't they just make one style of these parts?-cuss Tomorrow, I'm going to borrow a drill from work (I have very few tools at home) and drill out the mounting holes a little bit bigger so the master will fit onto the booster. If the new one doesn't fit, then I'll do the same thing to it too. I'm tired of all of these simple parts being slightly different.

Today I had a nice beverage and listened to some Kenny Chesney on my break. Then I went inside and dropped a steel dually wheel on my hand. Seems like it might be messed up. Hopefully it magically fixes itself over night because I’m really not trying to have any cast on me.

I was going to "like" this until I read the part about dropping the wheel on your hand. Is there a "half like" anywhere?LOL
