I hit a guard rail instead of falling down 50+ feet into a ravine while towing a trailer on bad road conditions everyone walked away with some minor bumps and bruises it was a crazy night for me and crazier past few days but hopefully everything gets better the pics were taken at the wrecker yard that recovered it I just had the rear end redone new fuel tanks rewired it myself all new brakes hubs and drums new glow plugs new controller everything and the engine was rebuilt 10k ago

Ouch. Wow I'm glad you hit the guard rail instead

Not going to rebuild it? Or is there more damage than just the cab?

Ouch, glad you all made it out alright.

The tire tracks make it look like it drove there under it's own power (still has a heartbeat). Is the frame still straight? Time for a cab swap maybe?

The frame is damaged and as of right now there is no funds to find a donor or get it moved from where it is to where I am so I am releasing it to the salvage yard so it's parts can help another

Have you thought about contacting Wes and asking if he's interested in it? I like to see it go to another member instead of some place where it will probably end up being crushed. Of course, my wants mean nothing.

I'll second contacting Wes. It might work out well for the both of you!

I feel your pain. While putting new fuel tanks in my 86 250 xlt lariat diesel supercab 4x4 custom ordered truck , a friends son parked a Pettibone off road CRANE, not putting down an outrigger or the e brake, it rolled into my one owner truck. 34 years ago when I drove to Zebart Rust proofing with 2 miles on it, I thought I would keep it till I died. F"d up that plan! I now have a 98 24v Dodge. I liked the Ford more.
