So what did you do with your truck today?

Haven't updated my build in a while. Mostly driving. Not so much working on the rig these days which is nice though I am due for a refresh on the engine soon, ip, injectors and turbo on top of everything else. It will happen at some point but for now it's still my daily driver.
These trucks are true workhorses , I had only a little understanding of why these things have such a following when I first aquired mine but as I've racked up the miles I get it now. No idea how many times the odo has been rolled over.

I drove mine! It’s really running like crap. But it’s running so it’s better off than it was yesterday. I got some really weird issue with air or fuel or something. It’s definitely not timing because the truck fires up within .001 second of even looking at the key.

Ehh... my RV's timing got screwed up from an electric fuel pump conversion (5-7PSI) but still started instantly even after sitting for months. Top end power got screwed up, not low end or starting. Just depends how your timing is off.

Needed to move the junk parts truck to make way for a wood shed. Don’t have a trailer it will fit on so I made it a trailer.

Not too bad for my first stick welds in 20 years. LOL

This truck hasn’t moved this easy since it last moved itself.

Well I’m pretty sure my issue is the injection pump. The Napa reman probably was on its way out anyways, sitting for a month probably didn’t help it. Getting a bunch of random fuel knocks all over the place.

Changed my oil in the truck and the car. Also added a kiss of air to all tires since its getting cool and the focus likes to set off the tire pressure all the time.

scored a yukon 10.25 4.11 gear set, install kit, and open carrier gears yesterday.
which would have cost me $700, i scored for $300!
i had a spare LS carrier i installed.
MANchero will be back in action next week after the crush sleeve eliminator gets here

note: a IDIT piston is the same diameter as the rear pinion race.
45 seconds on the lathe, and it made a great race driver.
