I'm a die hard 6.0 fan after owning mine, but if i bought a gasser, that 6.2 for motor is an awesome powerplant. UPS was running one in a 2012 F350 4X4 here in VERY rural South Dakota they logged over 500,000 on it and the only reason it went away is the rearend pinion bearings went out, and they had its replacement waiting.

No engine work was ever done, or transmission. just regular service. I know this because we store the rural route trucks and do the regular maintainence. so they don't have to make the 100 mile trip to the closest DC every day. They beat the tar out of that truck. It was the poster child for rode hard and put-up wet.

6.2 gasser FOR THE WIN (just my opinion)

Oh and not to put GM down, the other two rural trucks are their actual "package cars" and have a 4.8 GM in the smaller one and a 6.0 GM in the bigger one backed up by Allison 2000 series trans, governed out at 68 MPH both of them regularly have engine swaps done between 80k and 110k.
