So I've wanted to upgrade the seat in my truck since I bought it. It had the plain Jane bench seat and was pretty wore down from farm use. The seat was still serviceable but sagged pretty good. I rebuilt the springs but the foam was worn and I wanted something else anyway. So my search began. All the obs ford seats I found were double and triple digits and would need further attention after purchasing. I found a guy that runs a wrecker service and he had a couple 02 f series laying around. I took a look and found this seat. Cost me $50.
Aside from the fact it was dirty it was in good shape. The drinkers side was in really good shape, drivers side had the usual hole but was fixable. I pulled the seat apart and had it professionally cleaned, cost me $50.

Picked up a replacement foam and cover for drivers side bottom for $100. I pulled the bench seat from my truck and did several test fittings.
After taking measurements I got to work. 1/2 x13 bolts, nuts and fender washers were sourced from lowe's. I already had some square tube laying around(more on that in a minute). Holes were drilled in the floor and the new seat was bolted in. I used silicone on the washers and high strength lock tight on the bolts. The final seating arrangement is a bit different from the bench seat, this was expected as the brackets are a bit different. I also had to use square tub on the passenger side of the seat, closest to driver side brackets as those brackets were a bit short and needed to be higher, see attached pics. Overall I'm super pleased, have an armrest and more comfy seats. I intentionally left a bit of extra room as my daughter is still in a booster seat and likes to ride in the middle. I also transfered the seat belts from the old bench so they'd match the truck. Last pic is the final product

I just realized I misinterpreted and didn’t post a full pic of them tilted forward. I’ll post one later when I get home. If you have to replace the driver seat cushion I was only able to find a replacement for a ford lightning seat. I reached out to a manufacturer and they said it would fit. I can confirm it does fit.
