Exactly. Other than that she did great, I disconnected the speedo cable before hand as it was getting very noisy so was using an app for speed. I left filled up, topped off with 7 gallons in Shanomish, 16 in Spokane, and topped again just after some pass. The one after fourth of July pass.
Kept her under 900 all day and the temp did not exceed 185-190 range. Dad was slow in the V10 F650 uhaul so I took my time. 65 was fast enough, anything higher and you could really feel the TTB sag/misalignment.
Only bad part was bugs thru Kellogg, they hit the redneck ac windows and explode inward.

Just outside of Billings. Heat shield above the exhaust rattles above 60 so shoved some rags in there to quiet it down. Back on the road we go!

Grabbing some food in Wall, SD before finishing off in Platt. My cheapo transfer pump quit on me on the Bozeman Trail Pass but the front tank seems to be just fine.
Grabbing a replacement pump tomorrow evening. The heat shield rag held up and I am no longer thinking the truck will fall apart.
