It's probably a different engine that had the tach pickup. The 7.3 in my 85 has the pickup too. Something has to plug the hole.

I thought you said in another thread that you don't have a tach. ???

You have the sender but no tach?
Mine is a reman 6.9 by Ford. Not sure what year or how many miles are on it. The wires don't go to anything. Maybe they had one with a tach and used it for timing?

More using a stock trailer for nothing animal related. Helped my grandma move all her furniture from storage, and then hauled some table frames for my grandpa.

I'm sure it's probably come up somewhere else on this forum, but what pillar pod set is that?

Glow shift or autometer have a 3 gauge pod for 92-97 which can be cut and massaged to fit nicely. Just have to drill hole(s) in existing trim to run wires through and mount the new one over it. I went with the 4 and had to cut one off to is isnt the greatest fit but will work.

Now that I know the bed is bolted down solid I put a toolbox in the bed and then drove it up the road 10min and got a spare tire mounted up. Came home and changed the oil, and then washed the grime off from around the hood after working on the turbo yesterday. Now I've just got to clean out the toolbox and get some tools in it and then I should hopefully be all set to head up to the rally tomorrow!

Just attempted to seal my up pipe. I got some high temp JB weld and put a thin coat of it around the slip joint. I’m gonna wait for it to cure. Then I’m hoping the extra “meat” on the joint and some ultra copper rtv will help out.

I was just going to ask. You didn't want to use high temp rtv and a new gasket? They're like, $4.
I ended up just using the rtv. Hoping that seals. There’s no gasket that goes into the slip joint thing. I think there’s just some spots that have been worn down.

You mean which joint? Back of exgaust manifold?

Check that parts list. It shows 31337 which should go to the up pipe/manifold if I am not mistaken. Though I've never taken mine apart yet, and it is leaking. Just terrible design.

Oh I’m sorry man, I meant that it’s the top of the turbo up-pipe
