Hey all, my truck has not been converted to electric fuel yet but it did come with a racor 500fg but has been disconnected. I am wondering if I can utilize this in my e fuel setup to save some money. If it's not work it then let me know and this can be a short thread lol. Thanks.

What are you attempting to gain from going to e-fuel?

Honestly both my trucks are stock aside from tuning and I'd actually prefer the mechanical fuel system on my OBS compared to my SD.

Honestly, I don't know. I want to go with stage 2 injectors but figured I needed e fuel. Maybe I just got caught up in the hype?

Mine was smoother at idle and high rpms when I went efuel....
Plenty of reasons to make the swap, imo.

Have you shimmed or replaced your regulator spring to get it up to 75psi first? Have you monitored your fuel pressure under heavy throttle with your max setting now? If you're not loosing pressure under heavy accel now then I'd wait until after the new injectors are in and you see that the pressure is dropping significantly first.

My cali truck came with the 75lb spring and I've got injectors that flow ~150cc. With a clean filter and regulator screen there's not a setting I've got where I loose fuel pressure (Gearhead Hydra).

Yes stock with a php hydra

Planning to add more mods? If so you'd probably benefit from the e-fuel but that would be last.

I'm the kinda guy who doesn't spend money unless absolutely nessesary.

Honestly all I want is about 300hp. I'm thinking upgrades turbo, stage 2 injectors, intercooler.
