Quick test might be filling fuel filter with atf, start engine and listen for improvement. If there's no change it likely isn't an injector.

I already did the injectors, thinking that was it from my cracking them open this winter. I'm leaving them filthy because I heard when you send them in to get rebuilt, the rebuilder loves to do all the cleaning themselves :drunk: (kidding)

The peeling rusty one on end is the one I thought it was

Just drove it around for about 20 min, noise seems quieter. Going to let it sit while I finish packing and cricutting and then try again.

I got the evil eye when I pouted and stated I wished to say: "f it" and try to make it to NH anyway

I have to work a bit in the morning (ffs) so I'll take it with me on the 40 min ride each way. Luckily the customer is an early riser so I'll still be able to make my leave time for rally! It quiets down so nice on the highway!

Also these BB injectors and the new clutch and the front axle actually being ATTACHED to the rest of the truck, oh my god... This truck was such a piece of crap before and I never even knew it until tonight! Or I guess it's morning now

Just beginning to turn night, here.

Your story is the same as for a lot of us.

I started with a crappy truck that I loved anyway.

Eventually I got another truck that was so bad, it had to be taken back out of the scrapyard, (Not even the junkyard.), to be given to me.

And now... after all the work, and the time... I never would have believed this truck could be so great!
