Thought I would post my success with LVP Color Blend I got from LMC today. Some of my panels are faded, especially the door panel by the window and dash. I will be using this on the trim.

Can rattled instantly, nozzle can flip horizontal or vertical which is always nice, and they thankfully can be flipped upside down to clear out unlike the new rustoleum (terrible now).

As stated on the can, it dried in 45 seconds or so and could be scratched without damage. I would recommend.

I’ve always wondered if that stuff gives off a weird texture, like sticky once the truck gets hot.
Now that the sun is shining most days, the truck has the sun on it depending how I park. I will do the top of the door panel some night this week and go mess with it during the day. Would really suck if it became some sticky, smelly mess that attracted gunk.

Yeah for sure. I just know sometimes spray paint will do that when it’s not on metal.

How close was it to the original color? You have "Maroon" color interior, right? I have the same problem and I keep catching flack for the sorry state of the dash. I have a grey dash that I was thinking to repaint but not sure how close I can match the OEM color.

Really interested to see how the door tops turn out. Mine are getting pretty crusty.

After a few days in the hot cab under the sun, there is no change in the feel of the paint. The only thing is I can still leave a shinny line with a nail so if this were to be rubbed against may show a mark.

But no flaking or peeling. Pulling the door panels tonight for window seals and will see how that looks.

@hacked89 I got the door seal kit which came with the window track seal (meditate prior), inner and outer seal along with the cab seal. Looks great! The inner isn’t on yet as it is held in with staples and I just painted the top of the door panel so waiting for it to dry.

I would remove the ild seal, then the portion of the track closest to the handle, then figure out how to remove the window, then install the track gasket starting bottom left and stopping by the handle area, thread the window in, then the bracket, and have fun going up and down getting it in place. Took some doing but went well.

Looks great man and I like the silver, black color scheme with the red stripe on your truck.

I think the only piece I am missing is the drivers side kick panel. I have the ankle vent portion but not the piece that touches the sill plate and covers the hole where the floor switch connector comes out of. The portion labeled 02344. Mine is non AC, base mode if that makes a difference.

The parts truck I nabbed my seat from was missing that trim piece and the seat belts. My seat belts work but are coated in chocolate and candy. Real grubby.
