I would want them in my line of site. Piller, dash, overhead console.

I understand there is not a pillar pod for bullnose trucks but the brick one can be modified to fit? I agree with having the gauges in sight, is there a dash mount one people have had success with?

I didn't even know there was one for the bricknose trucks until I just looked. I'll try to get you pictures of the pods in Diego. Looks like a set of 92-97 pods grafted in.

I believe we've had a few members make their own. Using fiberglass.

Getting the 4 gauge pillar pod for the OBS. Going to modify it to fit. I have some red interior paint from LMC already so it should match. Fingers cross.

Filled T19 with gear oil last night. Plan for today is to fix the tailgate and maybe start on insulating.

Silver for the heat. Found my driver side windshield area is leaking. Must be why the column bracket in the firewall was Rusty. Why did they make such a big gap between the chrome and windshield???

@Selahdoor sadly its coming down good today so I was stuck in the cab insulating. If there is a break, I may head out there. The tailgate is welded together with no access to the handle so I have to cut it open and then weld it back up. At the very least if I’m lazy, I might use rivets like we discussed.
I have a new bolt for the pivot point and a cable for the one thats missing.

The Noico sound deadening insulation is extremely tacky and went on nicely. I got 80mil for heat and 150mil for the remainder of the cab. May get another box of 150 to do the roof.

I'm sorry I didn't get those pictures yet, I've been fighting with a water heater all day...

Your tailgate doesn't have an access panel? I wonder if that was a bullnose thing. Both of my bricks have a panel right behind the linkage.

When I was pulling apart the parts truck, I thought I could use that tailgate. FYI: 85 F250 XL (460) standard cab long bed has a different tailgate with access panel and latches. Wasn’t the FORD painted one like mine. Might have been the one with the chrome plate? But there wasn't a plate, just dark blue and mossy.
We tried swapping hardware and when we pulled the plastic liner from the inside of mine, it was all steel, no access. Looking at it, maybe the latch pieces come out as one? The shop manual doesn’t mention that for styleside. Its as if they inly care about the chrome plate one along with flare side and bronco.
