I would really appreciate it if someone could take a picture of their stock height F250 with ttb measuring from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender. I forgot to before tearing it apart and I need to know where it was before hand. Here is where it is sitting.

Here ya go. I do have add-a-leafs on the front BUT they only bring the front end to stock height, no adjustment bushings and tire wear is nice and even.

Thank you!!! So my front end is sitting 10" higher than stock! It sits 6.5" higher in the front than the rear and they are telling me it will settle...

My '97 155"wb has no add a leaf but I replaced every bushing in the front end ~ 25k miles ago. It’s basically the same as josh_bear maybe 1/4” higher likewise all suspension settings are stock.

Thanks!!! So my truck is definitely sitting about 10" higher than stock. I expect it to settle maybe 2", so the ride height would be 8"... I highly doubt it will settle 6" . Even if it does, it won't happen over night and I need this truck fixed asap. I shouldn't have to wait a year for things to settle before the truck is driveable. I will be contacting them again on Monday and see if they are willing to do anything for me.

Did they send you F350 lift springs? The f250 springs are flat to frowny face (technical term) I’d guess the right springs probably would look a lot like stock f350 springs. Maybe a bit taller for 4” lift. Something is definitely wrong. I don’t think you could even force that all together with the Ubolts.

Ya I really don't see how it would work even if I was able to force everything together. I'm going to pull the leaves tomorrow and get more measurements.

If that IS the case...

Find someone with an f350 that wants a lift kit, and trade them? You both get a lift...

Honestly if they can't make this right on Monday I will ask for and hopefully get my money back and figure something else out. I am so over this kit.

I just noticed Rough Country apparently uses the same springs for the F250 4" lift as they do for their F350 4" lift.. :dunno

I just chatted with RC again. They confirmed that they do use the same spring for their F250 and F350 kits. They sent my pictures to their R&D team and I should hear back this afternoon, but probably not until at least tomorrow.

Starting to wonder if yours is the first 250 kit they have sold...

It sounds like other people have had similar issues, just not quite as bad as mine. Mine might be the first of a new run of them, maybe they changed something up ...? :dunno
