Strange issues, tried basically everything

@pelky350 like i told you compression test first then go from there.
I agree with brians theory as well i am all for having massive amounts of supply fuel. I am at the point where I will no longer recommend the carter and i for a long time have not been recommending facets, only holleys or walboros. But still do the compression test then use a infared temp gun that can be had for $30 online or at oreillys to check exhaust manifold temps when it is just starting up to see if there are any red flags in what the cylinders are doing if the compression test comes back good

Yes still getting there, today had to replace power steering pump, and pitman arm and yesterday was valve cover gasket and air filter, I’m literally replacing everything on this truck it’s been going out one after the other non stop lately, now I get why people just do frame up restorations but since funds are limited I just do 20$ at a time lol

Did you have a more highway miles lately than usual? That will typically help compression by cleaning out the rings.

Only time I’ve ever had raw fuel coming out the exhaust was low compression.

Before I rebuilt my engine, I remember taking the downpipe off and wondering why there was diesel dripping out of it... makes sense now
