You do make a good point, and I agree that it's really up to how stringent the quality control is no matter the source of the product, and who will honor said warranty if something does happen.

A 128GB Samsung microsd card half failed within its warranty period (went read only) and they honored it. They paid shipping to have me send in the bad one and they paid shipping to send me a new one. Sure they are only about $30 now but still. At least they do honor their warranty.

i would buy either spicer or dana parts
moog has turned into the same crap as every other parts store crap
Supposedly in the last few years they have stepped up their game.
I use moog at work (as that's typically cheaper and readily available) so we'll see how they last.

I often buy Moog's Quicksteer line from rockauto. Main reason is that they are still fullsize joints, and greasable.

A number of the other offshore cheapo joints are smaller than OEM.

I'll second the "napa chassis" line of napa parts. For what it's worth when the shop I work at started using them nearly exclusively, we almost never had anything come back for warranty work and it stays tight if greased.

And they come with a lifetime warranty

So this thread mostly discussed the wear items on the front end like tierods and ball joints ect but since it's titled Suspension Parts and I had a good experience recently I thought I'd share.

Beattie Spring up in Flint MI. They sent me some front shackles for our '91 and they are quality units at a good price. They also have some good knowledge base articles describing what to look out for in overseas parts and what to look for when buying "made in america". They explain about the industry regulating body SRI and how they try to use SRI approved suppliers as much as possible when sourcing components. If anyone is in the market for springs bushings or Ubolts for their trucks I would suggest checking them out. They also have a pretty extensive ebay store that has many of their products as well as being able to order through their site.
