Today, to celebrate my last day of freedom before the stay at home thing goes into effect at 12:01 this morning, I went for a three wheeler ride close to North Platte, NE with a couple of friends. The real reason was to pick up three more for parts (like I really need any more of those!cookoo). The riding was just a bonus.

Finally got my vent system figured out and built for my 38 gallon conversion. Hopefully will be able to install the tank in the next few days. I’ve never used JB weld in my life but I didn’t have my welder here and didn’t feel like driving all the way into town to the shop. Figured it’d be fine for just a vent line.

Atc’s hold a special place in my heart lol. I don’t like riding them without helmets

Put the tires that were on Diego when I got him onto Tank today. SO MUCH BETTER! The other tires were out of round and out of balance.

I also mounted them on the correct wheels for the tire size, and created a tech article about them in case anyone is curious: https://www.oilburners.net/threads/dually-wheels-2wd-vs-4wd.87601/

Old tires and wheels, very close together

Don't know how well you can see it, but this was one of the old tires. There's a spot that's completely worn flat in the tread!

I won't be satisfied until I drive my normal route to work, but it SEEMS the vibrations are almost gone. They were bad.

Looks pretty good now too :Thumbs Up

I didn't do anything real special. Yesterday, since it will be time to mow in a few weeks, I picked up what was left of the tree that we cut down last fall and loaded it into my trailer. Today, I took the trailer to the city dump to unload it. Then I tool the trailer back to my garage and unloaded my treasures from Sunday's shopping spree. It doesn't show in the picture, but the trailer is about 3/4 full of bark. There's not very many branches on top. It took a while to load and a while to unload.

Today I got my heat wrap in the mail and wrapped my turbo crossover pipe with it. Man it made a difference! The turbo didn’t light till 1800 rpm before, now it starts boosting at around 1300-1350 rpm. Pretty sweet for what I paid for the wrap:Thumbs Up
What brand did you get?
