@subway I'm sorry to hear that. Megan is going to miss her partner in crime for sure! Just be safe wherever you are headed man!

I just don't know if it will work for us this time. I won't have enough vacation earned and it is right after the traditional 2week shut down most factories have so they might make me use vacation hrs if we have no work.

update / check in..

i am trying to get in touch with the mt Washington auto road to plan a reserved time. unfortunately this is generally a set price and will only get cheaper the more drivers we have. so might have to play it by ear a little.

i hope everyone is doing well with this corona pandemic. really hoping it doesn't effect our summer plans too bad and everyone is still able to attend.

I'm hoping by July New Hampshire will be one of the "safe" places to go.

I'm in NJ which has formed a coalition with NY, CT, PA, Mass, and DE and I think dinky Rhode Island and they're going to be doing their own thing separate from the federal mandates, just due to our numbers and because so many of our residents are constantly crossing state borders (which is true, in the past 2 weeks for parts, I have been in PA, NY and CT, although I've just driven up and had people drop parts in the bed of the truck).

But if they aren't able to administer antibody tests, I also don't want to run around infecting people in the case that I'm positive. My dad has had pneumonia repeatedly so we have been doing our best to keep him on strict lock down, but I'm slammed at work so I am sure I have not been perfect in my decontaminations.

I might just check in with you guys and ask if you'd rather not have me come up for your own safety when it gets closer

yeah i am hoping most is back to normal come rally time. im really not sure whats gonna happen. we can all still go as long as the campground stays open and if still in affect we would have to keep distance. i would also think most events would be canceled. still stuff to do but would suck. i will try to get in touch with the campground soon to check in.

i dont want to cancel the rally but sadly it could come to it.

Whelp I already had it. Got it in Joisey last month of all places. Was there for 24 hours. Go figure. (Probably Newark Airport).

So I'm okay if you show up. My GF never caught it that we can tell and we've been in constant company since the lockdown happened. It's kind of hit or miss.

Not sure if you can have it twice or not but we should know by then.

Worst case you all come here, there's a pool, parking, at least one 220a plug, and some trails and Englishtown speedway not too bad of a drive haha

update.. i talked to the campground last week, they are actually just opening. plan to stay open if they can. not sure what will change come july but as of now most everything is closed as in public places (like every other state) which means we are very limited on things to do. there would still be plenty of sight seeing and other outdoor things to do anyway.

looks like it will be a pretty small group and might not be a bad thing with the current situations.

@no mufflers I'm still going to be optimistic that things will be opening up by then. Like you said though, there is always the scenery! I know we are still planning on going unless things go completely to pot by then.

Not sure about us coming this year so far. Hope it's a great rally for attendees. About the v iris stuff, if you want to learn what is suspect go to LondonReal.tv for some pretty troubling information. Is the pandemic real?

Well you can believe what you want I have no stake in the game but I actually had it. It kicked my ass for 2 solid weeks and I never get sick. 7 weeks later I am still short of breath and haven't fully recovered my energy.

I was spending a lot of time in the Newark NJ area in February through mid March. Caught it on my last trip up there.

As far as I know I did not pass it on to anyone else. Neither my son nor girlfriend got it and my friend who helped me install a garage door 3 days before I had symptoms never got sick either. Those were the only people I was around.

Did we over-react as a society? I believe we did.

Either way I do hope the rally still happens. I may have to bow out as the project I was supposed to start up in April has been moved to right when the Rally is supposed to happen. It may get moved again so not bowing out yet.
