Looking for some suggestions. Just replaced the IP and injectors with new return lines, olives etc. (thanks Mel and Russ).

When I bought the truck it was running off of one fuel tank plumbed directly into the midship tank. Recently installed 38gal rear tank and re-plumbed all lines through the selector valve and wasn't getting any fuel to the Schrader valve. Thought selector valve may be clogged or otherwise inoperable. Ran lines directly into the rear tank which is full and still have no fuel at the Schrader valve. Had my gf work the key while I tried the valve still no luck.

Truck ran fine before..

1) could it be lift pump randomly went out?
2) could it be air intrusion? Wouldn't it prime anyway and leak down over a few hours?

Just looking for some some suggestions on what to check tomorrow.

Check to see if you're getting fuel out of the lift pump. If not, try running a hose from the suction side of the lift pump into a jug/fuel can of clean fuel. If you still can't get anything out of the lift pump, then you know the issue is with the lift pump. If you get fuel out of the lift pump with a line into a separate container, then you know that you have to go backward from the lift pump toward the truck's fuel tank.

Hose and bucket?

Trace back the fuel lines to either collect or supply fuel, and see where the problem is.

Anyway, that is what I would do it were my truck. See if I have suction at the lift pump, pressure at the outlet. Hopefully, it's just a kinked hose.

Edit: .I see IDIBronco just said the same thing. I'll leave this up as a second opinion.

I agree with the previous statements, but how much fuel is in the rear tank?

Verify which is feed and return just to be safe. I'd probably try running from a jug of fuel hooked to the lift pump just to rule out supply issues.

Two things to keep in mind.

Don't crank too frequently and cook your starter, I know it's tempting.

I'd keep the filter full manually as you're going, as in when you stop cranking check it and fill it as necessary.

Has the truck run on the rear tank yet or did you do all this work at the same time?

Truck has not run on rear tank. After the install of the rear tank is when I figured out fuel lines were plumbed straight into the midship tank
