So on the vacuum switch... It is used on trucks with a vacuum brake booster to give a brake warning if vacuum is low. If I remember right you are converting to hydoboost. If so the vacuum switch is unnecessary for brake warning but could be left to indicate low vacuum in the hvac system if you wanted.

But remember, the dash light that turns on when vacuum is low is the Brake light and maybe the abs light as well?

On the DRL connector, the wiring diagrams show what signals go where and when they are energized so take a look at the diagrams before you wire them up. I believe you can buy that DRL module from rock auto for about $60 I've seen them on ebay for a little less but not sure if it would help with what you want to wire in.

I would think it has power all the time if it is daytime running lights, but I'll check it.

I'll have to work on the vaccum switch and figure out how to complete the circuit. I figured it would make something come on

Yes but the power might all go out when the running lights turn on. If I remember correctly, the module has some kind of reduced power output to run the lights at <100%. So the module might not be useful but knowing what was there and why will help you make an educated decision on how to use the wiring.

No doubt about it, knowing what it is made me wonder if the power to it goes off when you turn the headlights on. Got some ideas anyway

Hey guys, I bought some aftermarket inner fenders and they are super cheesy... I'm thinking I may just buy a used set or does anyone know where to get some that aren't so floppy? Or aren't so slick they can't be coated with something?

Well, I've decided I don't have time to finish the truck myself. I said if I got to a year, I'd have someone else do it... Hoping to get @Thewespaul to finish it up for me, I've got alot of it back together and most of the parts except what he was going to build anyway, @Thewespaul , hit me up lol!

This is getting pretty close to the time that he was going to shut down and catch up on some of his personal projects (I think). It may be a while until he can tackle it.

Hey @Scotty4 , the truck is in storage so no pics, not much more after I was on here, finished the firewall, brakes, heat and air box, rewrapped all the wiring with mesh loom.
@IDIBRONCO , damn that sucks but I work 70 or 80 hours a week, I just don't have time for a while, I'm kinda thinking about dragging up on this job and heading somewhere new so I was thinking I'll get out of here when he has time to mess with it, I really don't want to pay someone to pull my fifth wheel from Texas to Georgia lol

Hey guys, long time no see! Wes is working on my truck now but I've got a chance to buy an 05 F350 platinum that's been rolled for 2k, how does that sound? I wanted to do the axle swap and it's complete minus the engine

Yep. I saw your truck at Wes's place back in January. If you want the different axles then I say swap the axles and part out the rest. You can recover most if not all of your money that way.
