I get questions like this very often.
so I thought id throw something up that was highly visible
if someone actually searched.

these rails do have a few issues in my eyes.
but here is my experience with them.

lets start with the bad first...

#1, these do not allow you to remove the stock bolts.
this isn't a huge deal, unless youre stupid like me and don't think about it :D

#2, they are a ***** to install. I had to do it a few times before I got it.
injectors on the rails first, then install all 4 injectors and rail at the same time for best results.

#3, there too pretty... lol but most like bling.

now durability.
with the correct o rings, and huge sums of patience these will seal great!

I have let this rig sit for weeks. and never a leak down.
does not leak fuel, out of the rails anyway, but that's another story lol

I finally got this project to a state that can actually be used, and ive been using the hell out of it.
driving it on the street during shake down, even for a few hours at a time.
to climbing tires, trees, rocks, and cars.
out in the sand dunes.
you may think.. sand.. its soft... think again lol.

I have put them through the test.
they pass with flying colors.

the 3 ports per rail make it very user friendly.

and there it is.…

Yes, i agree with IDIoit. They take some patience to install but once installed are fantastic. Justin has a video on YT demonstrating the installation, which really , really, helped me a lot.

The only problem ai see with Justins video is he is not addressing the real life install issues and tricks of install. He is doing it on an engine stand.

What do you guys use for o-Rings ? i got a good looking set with all the lines for less than $100 and i installed them but ive always had a little bit of seaping on the bottoms and tops of these guys one leaks pretty good on the bottom though I used brand new factory style o-rings for it them... is it how you put them on? whats the secret to installing these and getting them to seal air tight?

viton o rings.
I get mine from @typ4
the trick is to get some m12 1.5 nuts to thread the injectors into place on the fuel rail; before installing all 4 injectors EVENLY
like 1/4 turn on each before doing another 1/4 turn

I found some locally installed them and went to prime it starter died... after that annoyingly expensive side quest I finally got it started and the rails leak even worse than before used grease on the o-rings specifically on cly #2 up front driver side it is trickiling out while running. i installed them 1/4 turn at a time. am i doing it wrong? i looked at the rails and dont seen anything obviously wrong with them. any one else have sealing issues with these things?

It might be worth giving justin at r&d a call and ask him about his methods for sealing the rails

I have some R&D fuel rails and they were a pain in the ass and 49 o rings to get right.
It also occurred to me that if i have to change one injector its back to removing and replacing the fuel rail again .... is it worth it ? Tell me about it.

I know how much of a ***** they are.
ive been there.
but after finally getting it right... I love them.

I have individual aluminum caps , and the stock type factory kids...

if 250$ is a drop in a bucket to you, Run them!
if that price is too steep for you, run the plastic caps.

its all individuality. honestly.

I talked to justin he recommended I loosen all my injectors and then install the rails.. I still dont understand how that will do anything except potentially make more issues?i wouldnt be able to torquethe injectors down without going and buying a big enough crows foot. and id be worried about those crush washers not sealing in the head... its looking more and more like its getting the factory caps.... Which really sucks i love how the rails look and the idea i hate the factory look. but i need to drive my truck its been 3 weeks of issues and other components failing just trying to get this setup to work..
